Randwick Council is proposing paid visitor parking at our beaches. As a local resident, you have the right to have your say through their official survey.
We want to send Council one clear message: don't put meters on our beaches. The best way to do this is to answer 0 on the very first question — and don't answer anything else.
The remaining questions ask how you'd like the meters to work. By not answering them, you're telling Council there's nothing to discuss — we simply don't want paid parking at our beaches.
Just 4 simple steps
Click Start, then No when asked if you've completed the survey before. Fill in your name, address, suburb and postcode, then scroll down and click Next.
This is the most important step. On the next page, you'll see the question below. Click the "0" dot on the scale to indicate you are not supportive of paid parking.
You can leave a comment in the "Why do you say this?" box if you wish — but it's optional. Don't answer any of the other questions on this page.
After the first question, there are a few more pages of questions. Don't answer any of them. On each page, scroll to the bottom and click the "Next" button to skip through to the end.
On the final page you'll see a confirmation message. Click the "Submit" button to send your response. That's it — you're done!
When you click the Submit button, you are submitting this survey.
